RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on marine vessels, including power distribution, pumps, motors, shore power converters, battery chargers, power management systems, and more.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution to minimize downtime.
Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols, ensuring all electrical work meets the required compliance and quality standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment specifications, and any modifications made to electrical systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Preferred 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine electrical systems.
Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address electrical issues effectively. Ability to read electrical schematics.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and collaborate on projects.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
5 years of experience in marine electrical systems.
