Island Marine Electronics stands as a comprehensive Electronics and Electric Company situated in Fort Lauderdale, FL, recognized as America’s Yachting Capital. Established in 1985 by owner and president Greg Woods, the company began with a single employee and was officially incorporated in 1988. Guided by the unwavering philosophy of “Not compromising quality of service under any circumstance,” instilled by Greg Woods, this principle has been the driving force behind the company’s success and the well-being of its employees.

Barry Baadte, the General Manager and Chief Engineer with 30 years of tenure at Island Marine Electronics, ensures that this philosophy remains the cornerstone of their operations. When we were deciding on who to partner with for the replacement of the original switchboard control system on our vessel, I was a little concerned with using a company that was 3000 miles away that I had never worked with considering our tight timeline for the project. However, after seeing the same project that was completed by you on a sister vessel and meeting with you to review our project and timeline, I was much more comfortable.
